About

Healthy Reasoning was originally a project (2014-2017) funded by the Italian Ministry of Education and Research and based at Catholic University in Milan, under the direction of Sarah Bigi.

The Healthy Reasoning Lab is a development of the original project.

Healthy Reasoning Lab is a virtual home for projects and networking in the field of healthcare communication. The Lab hosts research on topics related to the analysis of interactions in healthcare settings, with a particular focus on the argumentative dimension of medical dialogues. The Lab welcomes collaboration across disciplines such as linguistics, argumentation theory, pragmatics, discourse analysis, and the medical sciences.

The Healthy Reasoning Lab is hosted at the Department of Linguistic Sciences and Foreign Literatures, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan (Italy).
