The HRLab develops projects aimed at understanding the peculiarities of dialogues that occur in the clinical context, with a particular focus on their argumentative dimension. It is especially this perspective that distinguishes the HRLab research from the work of other groups studying communication in healthcare.

 

HRLab projects span different clinical contexts and topics, trying to answer three main research questions:

Under which conditions is reasoning about health valid (i.e., healthy)?
