The HR Project (2014-2017) was funded by the Italian Ministry of Education and Research and based at Catholic University in Milan, under the direction of Sarah Bigi.

It provided the unique opportunity to work in close contact with the Association of Italian Diabetologists (AMD, www.aemmedi.it) and to develop important collaborations with international colleagues, some of which are still ongoing.

At the end of the project, in particular the research collaboration between Sarah Bigi, Maria Grazia Rossi and Fabrizio Macagno continued and helped shape the goals and scope of the HRLab.
